    Should we be specifying the names for IAM users which are getting created. Can you explain please.

    Hi,

    You don’t have to specify name. It will create the IAM user and that user will have a physical ID. If you change delete all resources except the “Cfnuser” and change the output as below, you can see the name of the user. Also when stack is compeleted, you can see the user in IAM console.

    “Value” : {“Ref”: “CfnUser”}

    hi this didn’t work for me as i think it sets the ELB up in EC2, then tries to attach the SG to the ELB

    18:34:14 UTC+0000 CREATE_FAILED AWS::ElasticLoadBalancing::LoadBalancer MyLoadBalancer Security group(s) can be applied to only an ELB in VPC.
